That post brought to you by the bottle that 130-lb CSL has been chugging for the last hour or so. That he remains conscious is a cause for wonder.

I love vodka too.
Etymology of the word is interesting.
Voda in Russian means water. the -ka ending is a diminuative they place on names that's close to "little".
I.e. Mikhail is Michael, Mishka is Little Mikey.
Vodka is Little Water.
Booze hounds!

Vodka is easily the worst form of alcohol in the world. I'd rather inject a cow's ass with rubbing alcohol and then suck it dry.

Vodka is what I drink when I don't feel like drinking. It's the user friendly liquor!

I love the flavored vodkas...ones like Citron, etc. Mixes up a good collins and damn so good. Side note - never drink vodka and blue kool-aid (smurf piss to those that know) after eating hershey kisses. Not a good combination in either direction.

My father was a big straight liquor man (my family has high tolerance to alco)... however he switched from to Jack Daniels, I guess for weight issues (so I hear). I tried to emulate his Vodka drinking once to no avail... though I did get to know my toilet a little better...her name is Betsy...

Great stealth mix for parties is Absolut Citron mixed 30/70 to 50/50 with Minute Maid Lemonade.
You have to taste it to find the break point personally, but I found I could mix it half/half with the lemonade and you couldn't taste the Vodka.

I can't even smell vodka anymore. Had a bad "incident" involving me and half a bottle being chugged. Woke up with a concusion from falling off a barstool and a nice hangover. Never again!! I stick to beer now.

Did you guys know that Vodka originated not in Russia, but in Poland? That's why I always keep a good Polish Vodka (I recommend WODKA WYBOROWA,) in the freezer. One or two shots straight from the freezer starts the evening off nicely, and it's the only civilized way to drink Vodka.
