It's only $200,000 dollars, but I'm not sure if that covers the CDL necessary to drive the thing or not.  Seriously, who the hell needs this kind of vehicle?  You know soccer moms will be driving it in no time...

This 'thing' (sorry, this is not a truck/SUV anymore by any means) weighs 13 TONS. Due to that weight, I don't even want to know what kind of gas mileage it gets. Frankly, I won't be surprised if it gets gallons to the mile instead of the more commonly used other way around. biggrin

Seriously - who the fuck needs one of these beasts?

One step closer to the EM50 Urban Assault Vehicle

Future Moms will need the dual role capabilities of taking a gaggle of kids to a sporting event and having the flexibility of reflective armor and advanced weapon systems to take on a small country should the need arise.

New for 2010 is hideaway short range missle system and GAUSS cannons. Need room for groceries, but that pesky weapons system is in your way. No longer will that be an issue because it folds neatly out-of-sight to provide more cargo area. A team of 8 men can easily and effortlessly remove the system to provide even more room. We don't recommend this as you never know when you may need your weapons systems. Always be prepared is our motto.

We also offer economy by offering the EM50-h Hybrid Assualt Vehicle that gets an austonding 4 MPG City 6 Highway!

Call your local dealer today for a free test drive at our firing range.

it's not for socker moms, it's for the blingers.  Toss 1.21 jiggawatts of Bass speakers in the back, thrown on some spinny hubcaps, and strap some neon lights underneath it and you'll have every gangsta on the block jealous  icon_twisted

Doesn't Ford realize that they're no longer the #2 automaker and they can't afford to chince around with such ridiculousness? Concept or no...

While this seems incredibly wasteful, Ford has some innovations which are mpressive in the new line of trucks aimed towards contractors.

Actually, 13 tons is the weight of the vehicle and your allowable carrying load/towing capacity.

The sad thing is these will sell. Whoever buys them should be taken out and horsewhipped for wasting the earth's resources.

I'd also add those people who buy "green" hybrid SUV's that get 21 MPG.

Yep definitely for the blingers.  As soon as I read about the 42 speakers I instantly thought, every rapper in the world is gonna be buying this thing up.

Those things are easy to defeat. I've watched Jackie Chan work his way up from the bottom, and that's without using any of the ladders. Or wires.

I mainly use it to drive the soccer field to the moms so they don't have to drive. It also doubles as a mobile rave on the weekends.

What really makes this vehicle ridiculous is the stepping platform on the side, otherwise it's no different than those long white vans.
