As in shaved completely bald. The Tele Savalas look. It was 7 months worth of growth up there. Was past my coller and my bangs were down to my nose. I decided to just do it all out and had it shaved off to the skin. This coming from the guy who at one time could sit on his hair smile

It feel GREAT! I usually keep it a flat top but this is even better. Strange but good. My scalp actually feels kinda numb. Ill get used to it. I can now dress in a red and black outfit and say "engage number one" smile

just make sure to wear a hat when you first go out into the sun otherwise you're head will match your sissy Captain Picard tights.  Tongue

"Clean" bald is rather hard to maintain. I hated the 5 o'clock shadow I'd get and nearly panicked a couple times when my pillow wrapped itself around my head when I rolled over. My hair was like velcro at that point. I hated having to shave every day too.

I take a $15 clippers to my head every week or so and it's much better for me. Keeps me cool in the Summer, warm in the Winter, and the ladies like to stroke it. (provided my wife is nowhere nearby  ninja)

And to think, all that time I thot your avatar was a chick.

This has been my strategy for a long while now. $60 for a nice set of Remington hair clippers saved me from paying a barber ten bucks to buzzcut my hair every two to three weeks. I've never done the math on the money I've saved since getting the clippers but I'm sure it'd be happy time if I did. I've been doing it for about three years now so I'd guess it'd be a pretty decent amount.

I have blonde hair so not a big 5'o-clock shadow. The velcro thing is new to me. I shaved it but when I used a towel on it it still had a little stuble and the towel was rather lint filled and I appeared to have a head of lint hair when I was done. Only got it all off after using a blow dryer to dry my head lol.

That takes me back to all the cans of shaving cream I put into the "clean" effort. Seriously, let it grow for a week or so and see how you like it a tad longer and a little softer. Buy some clippers and keep it there if you can.

But, if the clean look is working, then more power to you.

See, you're going about the "clean" look all wrong.

I've got a Remington cordless microflex (~50bux) and it is the BEST THING EVER for a clean look.

It runs better to do it BEFORE a shower as the natural oils help it slide over your scalp. I never get any irritation (and ANY electric razor irritates my neck so I'm very familiar with that kind of crap).

It takes me less than 3 minutes to completely do my scalp every morning, or about 4-7 minutes if I've left it for a few days.

I hated  BIC'ing my head, but I used to do that. I found that this is the best method in my on-again, off-again shaved head for the past decade.

Well I missed out, but then again everyone says I look better with a little hair as opposed to the "clean" look. BIC'ing SUX

Nope never had any.

My head gets a wee bit hot in the sun. Need to buy me a do-rag and a bandana.

Also before shaving my head I knew my hair grew kinda fast but dang the next day its stubble velcro head again. That stuff is like weeds.
