In case anyone is interested, just because BK sends you a coupon to buy one get one free for their huge Angus steak burger supreme thingies, it's not necessarily a good idea to buy one get one free and then eat them both for lunch.  What the hell was I thinking?  Especially when I've cut back my eating in general and my fast food intake in particular.  I think my belt line has literally expanded three inches and I feel pukey and food coma'd all at the same time.

Why does your belt area expand when you eat?  Isn't your stomach a lot higher than your belt?  It's not like all that food is dumping right into my intestines or fat supplies.

I hear ya.  The restaurant I went to for lunch had tiny portions.  I was still hungry when I got back to the office, so I ran down to the corner store and bought a bag of buffalo wing pretzel pieces.  Before I knew it I had somehow eaten the entire 10 oz bag: 1000 calories and 70g fat.

Me no feel so good right now.

Speaking of Burger King, I saw this monstrosity linked off Penny Arcade a couple days ago.  Anyone tried it?  It looks so horrible it could almost be good...

Your rib cage prevents your chest from expanding when your stomach stretches so the stomach pushes everything else down and you feel the pressure in your waistband.

I just made that up, but it sounds reasonable.  icon_twisted

It was this moment that took the movie from being a little ho-hum to “holy shit, did that shark just eat a plane!?”

I quit going to Burger King years ago when they changed their french fries. They are absolutely hideous now.

Blasphemy.

EDIT: OK, I had to erase that because it could be read in a really wrong way.  BK fries are yummy.

Oh god, terrible ever since they switched to that stupid starch coating technique.  Just horrible.

That's what I ate two of on Friday.  They weren't very good IMO.  That white stuff and the A1, not so much on a burger.  And I definately do not recommend eating two of them just because they are there and you could get two for the price of one.

When I was in my teens, I had the brilliant idea of a tomato and peanut butter sandwich.  Surprisingly, it tasted pretty good.  But it's not something I'd likely make again.

I just threw up a bit in my mouth.

I could tell you stories about Koogle that would curl your hair.

Koogle? The only Koogle I know of is the flavored peanut butter that used to be sold back in the 70's. And no, it wasn't flavored with tomato  icon_confused

We told you about the promotion that Burger King and Microsoft are running in Japan. The Windows 7 Whopper has a staggering seven patties onboard, weighing in at almost two pounds. A video has appeared today that shows one brave silly soul actually eating the entire burger. I believe he’s likely in the emergency room as we speak.

They just stacked 7 burgers on top of each other. That thing looks ridiculous.

I thought they would make it look a little more thought out, like by putting something in between each patty. smile
