I just don't enjoy foods that resemble male ejaculate. Call me crazy.

It's okay if you prefer the real thing.  For example, I can't stand crab substitute, instead preferring real crab meat.

Alright, I officially hate most of you on this forum now.  The cheeseburger thing was the final straw.

I agree.  I might have to head to Bartley's tonight and get a bacon cheeseburger just to balance things out.

The pro or against cheeseburgers?

Pro, man...only freaks are against.

For the record, I like as much stuff on my burger as I can get.  A dream burger is one with guacamole, jalapenos, bacon, and pepperjack cheese.

Not liking cheese on your burgers is just un-American.  That's like saying you don't like cake.  Cake is delicious, and yet, I know someone's going to reply, "but rickfc, I don't like cake" accompanied by some general whining reminiscent to a small, bloated and spoiled child.

I hear having your partner drink pineapple juice (or eat the actual fruit) helps make things more palatable.

i had a great burger over the weekend from Plan B Tavern in hartford, CT...awesome burger bar with a huge selection of different burgers and good beers.  my burger-of-choice for the night was 'The Squeeler'...half beef/half pork burger with cheese, bacon, and all the condiments you want, cooked to order.  Plan B easily has some of the best burgers i've ever eaten.  mix them with a good beer and cool atmosphere, and they're hard to beat icon_cool

The problem with bacon on burgers is that all the fast food joints use such poor bacon. Would you eat that bacon with your eggs for breakfast? Hell no. Go to the diners that use "real", thick, crispy bacon and it is nirvana.

Any bacon is better than no bacon... except canadian bacon.

Not sure about that. McDs bacon is almost completely tasteless. Jack-in-the-Box uses choice bacon.

I don't eat salad dressings in general, so it's not that I'm just targeting ranch. About the only dressing I will use is a sprinkle of light Italian. People who drown their salads in dressing literally make me sick. That stuff is bad for you, and completely defeats the purpose of eating salad.

And PS - picky ass little kids will also eat peanut butter & jelly. Peanut butter is disgusting, I will not eat that either.

My wife loves to make these tomato appetizers for parties that consist of sliced raw tomato with cheese and salad dressing on them, and I've tried several time to enjoy them for her sake.

Dude....a piece of tomato, piece of mozzarella cheese, and a basil leaf all on a toothpick is heaven.

Havarti is everything Mozzarella would like to be when it grows up.

It's awesome on burgers too. biggrin

No mayo, no peanut butter. Say, do you like carrots?

I love havarti but it doesn't really seem like a mozzarella substitute to me.  It seems more along the lines of muenster or even jack.

I'm a Whataburger guy myself.  I don't remember if they're national or not, but man, those who have them are lucky SOB's.  Their double meat-double cheeseburgers are the best fast food burgers around.  And their fries are delicious too.
