It's been awhile since I've had a chance to post.
Long story short: I was dating a coworker that I have since married. We had to keep things under wraps because our particular offshoot of the company was rather draconian about it, well beyond what was listed in the corporate guidelines. I left the company in August 2011, and managed to get a few people to follow me. I wanted to keep that quiet, as I was trying to be professional and leave on good terms (though my direct supervisors were not so professional about it).
On my birthday in December, I made a list of things to accomplish this year:
1. Get married (Done!)
2. Buy a house (Closing next week)
3. Get my black belt (Done!)
4. Get my CCIE ( Lab date Aug 10th)
With everything that happened before (gall bladder issues for 2+ years) I'd gone from what I considered my peak something worse. I feel that I'm finally back on track.
