Heard on Stern today that B&B will be back on MTV on Oct 27th with new episodes. I have to admit that they are one of my guilty pleasures.  |

This is why I don't watch broadcast TV anymore. I'm not convinced that B&B are able to be relevant.

I'm not convinced that B&B are able to be relevant.
I think people who enjoyed the show when it first aired will most likely tune in to see its return, but in order to be relevant they'll have to focus more on current events and pop culture instead of just on videos, especially since MTV doesn't even play videos anymore. I'll probably be checking it out, but it could really benefit by bringing back the entire Liquid Television lineup. |

They had a 10-15 minute preview from Comic Con earlier this year that got yanked from youtube. It was pretty funny (cornholio made an appearance, and they ripped on MTV for not having videos, and ripped on Twilight, Jersey Shore, etc.) This page has some of it. |

They apparently screened the story portion of the first episode at NY ComicCon over the weekend and it was very well received...even a fair number of people claiming that it tops the original show. They didn't show any segments of them watching tv, but they're supposed to be focusiing more on mocking MTV's current reality show lineup than the few videos that they actually play. The footage from SDCC showed them making fun of a Jersey Shore episode and it was pretty damn funny. I used to love this show way back in the day. Definitely will tune in for the new episodes. If they're anything like the trailer, it's going to be just as good as it used to be.

I was iffy until I saw the promo recently of the boys watching Jersey Shore. One of the girls on the show creates a "hook up chart" showing the guys they want to get with and Beavis giggles and just says, "If they trace that back far enough, they'll find the origins of Herpes.".  edit: found it |
