Infinite possibilities...go anywhere and do anything...it's just so hard to choose!
I think I'd create a quaint
19th Century Irish village full of
colorful and interesting country folk to interact with! Anytime I was feeling down, I'd stop in at the tavern to visit with
my extremely charming friend Vic Fontaine to get some relationship advice
from the main computer, or maybe head over to the local workshop and pal around with
Leonardo da Vinci while he offered up
poignant and well-written allegories about whatever my problems were.
Then, after the holodeck characters became self-aware and attempted to kill everyone, I imagine I'd spend the remaining 40-minutes repairing catastrophic damage to the ship's systems so the next person's holodeck appointment with
public domain fiction wouldn't be interrupted.
