I'll be amped after watching a Winterhawks game and hitting Wonderland for several hours.
Then I'll probably come home at around 11pm and spend New Years with my parents per usual. Oh. And spend it with Animal Crossing because I'm an uber nerd.

Heading over to my sister-in-laws where there will be wine and board games, midnight is no problem since I don't drink wine and love playing games.

Working 10 PM to 7 AM. Then packing and going to the aforementioned LAN party. Will sleep around 10 AM or Noon until tomorrow evening, then have a night and day of partying before the trek back home. And will be writing reviews the entire time too.

Just got called in to work 10pm to 6am tonight. When my boss called at 7pm I really, really should have pretended to already be drunk. Ah well. I can't leave the poor bastard stuck at my work there for a 16 hour stretch just because our noc shift is spending new years in an emergency room.
Still, Holiday pay + overtime =.0001% of what I'll need to pay for nursing school next year.
EDIT: Actually a little work with windows calculator shows that it is actually .0019% of what I need! Woohoo!

We stayed up, but we weren't really paying attention to the time or anything.
I went to St. Louis, hung out with some friends, and we were actually playing Mario Tennis on the N64 when midnight hit. Before that we played hours of some game called "Apples to Apples" which was hilarious.
Especially when a few of the players had some alcohol in them.

I think me and my buddies made it to three in the morning or so. Then we kind of woke up at like six and laughed 'cause everything - music included - was still on, but we'd been sleeping through the noise. Well, passing out through the noise may be a little closer to the truth.
New Years wasn't that bad this year. It's still ridiculously over-hyped, but I do have hopes for that one epic New Years. Maybe that'll fade as I grow older. I always find that the good ones are when you're with a solid significant other and your buddies, just enjoying the time with the people you're with.

There was a new year? What does this mean exactly? It means you kill another tree by buying another calendar (sorry Arbor Day folks).
