How do you get pee-pee out of paper?

During the night one of my inserts from Halo Reach blew into the floor without my noticing it and during that time my little dog decided to mark it. It only got one corner but it soaked it. it's gold now and stinky. is there any way to save it? I set it in the sun all day thinking the smell would go away but it didn't. I dont mind the color. looks like it was made that way but i can't put it back in the box stinking of pee. The only thing I can think of is to cut that part off. i've already typed and printed out what it says to place in the box. i hate losing it. its from my Legendary box

Spray it with something like this, Simple Solution pet odor remover.  It not only cleans up what you can smell, but what your pet can smell too in case your manual finds its way into pee territory again.

You could just get one or two small Zipper/ZipLoc style plastic bags, and put the intact insert in there, if you really can't bear to toss it or clip the odorous portion.

Vinegar can work wonders in cleaning/deodorizing (see http://www.howtocleanthings.com/how-to-clean-dog-urine.htm), but more for carpeting than for paper products.

Off the topic a bit, during my cat's last sickly weeks, I found newspapers on the floor (In layers) did a great job of soaking up the occasional urine splash or misplaced #2 and protecting carpet underneath. I'm certainly still mourning, but being able to just wad up the papers, and then do some final vacuuming made cleaning up this past weekend a much easier chore, which I was grateful for.

Hey I can sympathize.  I use to sleep walk in the middle of the night when I was a kid and sometimes I would open my toy chest and pee right in it.  There also was the time at the Mall when I was about 4 and I had to pee really, really bad.  I kept telling my mom but she kept blowing me off.  So I walked out the store to the railing in front, we were on second level.  Saw a nice big body of water below in the form of a fountain and let it rip waterfall style.  Mom was not amused but I felt that sweet relief that only emptying a overflowing bladder can fulfill.  Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
