Yeah, I like how he has shots of it on a trail, in the woods, etc. as if he just zipped up on in there on his awesome working hoverbike. Why do we only see it in the air when it's tied down? Video (non-tethered) or I'm throwing the LAME flag.

I agree that we need to see it working (and the fact that he didn't get that seems a little suspect).
HOWEVER, if it is real, that is sexy cool. I love the wood blades. My only issue would be with the open part of the cover. If you flip over the handlebars for some reason, we're looking at chunky cole slaw.

He mentions something about needing to figure out how to fly the thing: •After the re-build we will conduct one more tethered test before we release the bike from the ground. We will have a new control system to test then, and we also need to learn to fly the bike (one way to look at this, is trying to fly a helicopter for the first time without an instructor)
they really need to video tape the test flights  |

That's pretty dang cool. I wonder how easy it is to control though, as it looks like it could control much like a hovercraft does.

When you are testing something that hovers you tether it so it doesnt get away from the pilot/rider. Nothing like have a device with spinning blades go screwy and turn turtle on you(flip over). Look at some of the osprey test flight crash videos for samples of what can happen; nasty nasty.
