We are up 3 - 1 baby !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you feel it people !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh My Lord - I am excited !!!!!!
Bonus to the weekend ?
USC wins one of the best games I've seen in a long time!!
Sad note: Steelers lose. But, quite honestly, that game could have been alot worse than it was, so it's all good.

That was a good game! While I'm not a full-on Astro's fan, I would like to see them get in the World Series.

I hope whoever wins the NLCS wins the World Series. It would be the ultimate dis to Cubs fans to see the White Sox win.

I hope whoever wins the NLCS wins the World Series. It would be the ultimate dis to Cubs fans to see the White Sox win. This mentality is so stupid. Are the Cubs and their fans so obsessed with tryin to do better than the Sox, a team not even in their division, that they would rather see some team from their division, who are obviously better than the Cubs, because they are in the playoffs and the Cubs arent, win the World Series? Maybe if they spent more time worrying about the teams in their division or why the owners cant put together a winning team, despite of all of the money they have from those constant sellouts, they would be good enough to have been the team that has ended the long drought BOTH Chicago teams have gone through. The Sox dont draw as many fans as the Cubs. The Sox owners dont have the money of the Cubs owners (though they aint eating goverment cheese). But the Sox did it. All of Chicago should be proud and rooting for them. When the Cubs had a shot I rooted for them. I aint dumb enough to deprive myself the joy of seeing a World Series played in Chicago, my hometown, no matter which team it is. Both teams have sucked for so long, I think it is fucking hilarious when the fans argue about who sucks less. It is October. There will be baseball in Chicago. I am gonna watch and I am gonna love every fucking minute, win or lose. And if it were the Cubs, I would do the same. Just makes it sweeter that it is the Sox.

You know what? I decided to write Phil a letter... it went something like this:
Hey Fuckbrain! Don't pitch to Pujols in the 9th inning with runners on base you moronic asswipe. I don't give a rat's testicles if Col. Steve Austin is on the mound with his bionic arm throwing sliders at 105 mph. Don't do it. Walk the guy, load the bases, walk in a run, whatever. But don't pitch to him.
Sincerely, Lockdown.
- - - - -
But Lidge's record vs. Pujols is.... shut your mouth! Walk him! But Lidge was on the mound and pitching so... shut your mouth! Walk him! But a walk would have... shut your mouth! Walk him! But it would have been a tactically unsound... shut your mouth. Walk him! But coming up after Pujols was... shut your mouth. Walk him!
The rule is quite simple: You DON'T pitch to Albert Pujols in the 9th inning with 2 outs in a game where he has the chance to be a hero. You simply DO NOT DO IT!
Total Fuckbrain!

I believe what Lockdown is trying to say is that pitching to Albert Pujos in game critical situations is not the brightest of ideas. Is that correct Lockdown? You were a little ambiguous.

Here's the only important stat about last night:
Pujols was the ONLY Cardnial hitting good. He was hitting .400+.
WALK HIS ASS!
Yes, we got him out 2 other times. WALK WALK WALK!
*sigh*
That's okay. They pissed the Astros off now. Oswalt's gonna shut 'em down and the 'Stros are gonna light 'em up Wednesday.
