I think my webhost is down.  Hopefully the company didn't fold or something.

Please confirm that you're unable to reach my blog at

http://traderzone.us/ontheright

I'm unable to ftp to it as well, and 1&1's website won't load for me either.

Both links worked for me.  Maybe there's something going on at your ISP or something.

Crap, same here. My site is hosted with them as well, and I just timed out. Man, I hope this isn't permanent. It's odd for the whole sh'bang to be out like this.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hum, maybe I should restart?

I'll try that and see if it works.  It seems odd to me that neither work form me, yet all other sites are  working.

Ah, it works now!  Before I even restarted.

Maybe the server went down for a second.

Thanks for checking!

Do you guys both live in Florida?  I see Jeff does.  Maybe the voting polls opening for early voting today hosed "the internets" down there slywink

And yes, I realize that there is pretty much no computer connection with the computer voting, or at least what I read.

Fingers crossed indeed.

It came up but it's extremely slow.  Things aren't working right though, that's for sure.

Hopefully they'll fix it today smile

The site loads for me and my own website which is hosted with them loads up fine.

Check the traffic report: http://www.internettrafficreport.com/namerica.htm

according to that site, Tampa is having problems..

Yes, I noticed the slowness, but I was able to get to both sites.  The blog site opened up quickly though.

My site opens for me occasionally.  If I happen to get it open my admin powers for the blog don't work though.

I'm having definite issues here.

Thanks for checking you all.

I wonder if the main line between wherever Jeff lives and Eco lives isn't having problems.  I don't know where Eco lives though.

I wasn't able to access the forum until just now.  Had trouble accessing the brutesquad forum and DSL Reports too.  I think there was some issues with the internet that have been resolved now.  I'm in the DC area.

I can certainly vouch for their quality. I've had nothing but good results from them, and their servers are damn fast. When people download from me, they'll comment about maxing out their bandwidth.  They also have an 800 number with actual humans manning the phones and were quick to help, when I needed it.

Not for a very, very long time.  But they're a damn good source of info in both their front page and forum.  Good website and I figured if the internet was broken they'd have some info on it...assuming of course that they weren't broken as well.

Heh, just went to their site and there's a story that a Finnish researcher says that the internet will be really broken in 2006.

For what it's worth...Level3 has an issue right now that is affecting a lot of DSL customers in SW Bell and Bell South territory. Don't know if that's affecting you guys.

In case some of you like to check the traffic report a lot, internet traffic report has a system tray program you can download.
