So it seems I'm in this contest on Facebook, promoting a company called .ME which is all about personal website domains ("You're not a company, you're a person" is their slogan).

They got a bunch of comedians together and recorded them.  Unfortunately, what they told me I needed to prepare turned out to be vastly different than what they needed, so I had to scramble at the last minute to get stuff together that worked.  However, the clips have come out better than I would have expected, given all of that, and I've made it to Round 3.

The system has been having all kinds of problems and is still a little messed up.  You have to scroll down to my bracket, click on me, then scroll back up to vote.  It will ask you for your info and can autofill.  I understand if you don't want to do that.  On the other hand, you can win a Canon Rebel T31, so it might be worth it.

Are you trying to do it from an iPhone or an iPad?  The video doesn't seem to appear on those (although sometimes I've had it work on the iPad...as I say, this whole thing has been a mess).

If you're looking at it on a PC (or Mac, I assume), a video should pop up where you vote.

Yeah, I could see it on my iPad, but it wouldn't play. Just went back to the page and it says I voted already (yesterday) so I think it is probably working even though it doesn't acknowledge it when you hit the button.

Ditto. I ordinarily don't allow any apps at all. It's possible to uninstall them, but not very straightforward.

Thanks.  I think it's supposed to be a different clip each time, but both mine and Vacation Jason (agreed...terrible) seem to be repeats.  Not sure why, except that it's par for the course for these guys.

I have to say I was surprised at the lack of quality of most of the participants.

Honestly, there may be a little moolah involved, but the point is just to do it at this point and say I did.  Also, it wouldn't hurt any chances of being used for a radio or future TV ad (although the one .ME is going to run is pretty good, I have to say).

From what I understand, it goes until tomorrow at midnight.  Now, as seems to be typical with the people running this, they've listed the end as 12am Sunday, but have said that you should have two more chances to vote, so it seems they really mean 12am Monday.

EDIT:  It appears that the contest for winning the camera is over.  The voting for comedy continues, however.
