Which movie is funnier?  I've had both recommended to me as "laugh-out-loud" movies.

I thought Van Wilder was lame and unfunny.

Harold & Kumar had me laughing so hard I woke my kids up.

Van Wilder, easily.

Ryan Reynolds for an entire film > two stoners looking for White Castle.

Both movies are hilarious, though.

van wilder by a long shot much funnier the white castle was pretty lame dude wheres my car bill and ted waynes world are fun movies about idiots (though dude got a lil bit lame as well).  van wilder is just straight up great comedy

for the college humor type thing can i suggest the lesser pimped dead man on campus?  funniest... movie... ever (and fitting because i just mentioned it somewhere else)

Never saw Van Wilder, but I thought Harold & Kumar was pretty funny. A little of Ryan Reynolds goes a long way for me, and there was just enough of him in H&K to be funny.

Harold and Kumar for the win thanks to Neil Patrick Harris.

NPH: " Yeah, I've been craving burgers, too. Furburgers. Come on, dudes, let's pick up some trim at a strip club. The Doogie line always works on strippers.
[sings] Lapdance...[/sings]

NPH:  "Yeah it was a dick thing to do."

and that scene in the forest was also hillarious
"dude why are you peeing right here?"

I loved both of those scenes.  That and the tow-truck driver's puss!

I want to vote, but it's been too long since I saw Van Wilder to gauge which is better.  Quick!  To Netflix!

I didn't much like H & K, but I'll never forget PNH 'I left a love stain on your back seat.'

I had to vote for Van Wilder, much funnier movie.
