Man I wish they'd release the whole series on DVD.  That would be an entire DVD case full though wouldn't it? Like one episode was 2 hours.  I think in Europe the show was broken up into half hour spots.

Happy Birthday. The new series looks as if it could be great.

Tom Baker was the best!

BTW, did anyone watch the mini-series (from last year, I think)?  I recall some bad reviews of it.

I don't think that there was a Doctor WHo mini series. Maybe you're thinking of Battlestar Galactica, or the Paul McGann film from around 5 years ago. If it's the film, it was awful. Although Paul McGann is a very good Dr Who, at least in the audios. And yes, Tom was the best.

No, there definitely was one (maybe it was just shown in the US?), but I heard it wasnt too good.  It also didnt have the Daleks, which ticked off a lot of fans.

EDIT- here it is.  Yes, I was thinking of the Paul McGann one.

I liked Paul McGann as the Doctor, but I absolutely hated what they did with the show.  God.

The Doctor kissing a companion? Eww.  The action didn't feel like Doctor Who action.

Really disappointed me.
