Happy Birthday, MTV. Though I was sad when you had your M surgically removed, you still have a special place in my heart.

BTW, how does Martha Quinn still look this cute?

I will never forget the launch of MTV and spending my youth watching music videos.  I basically watched right until around the mid-90s, though the latter years were pretty much just me watching Headbanger's Ball and 120 Minutes.

I used to love MTV.  Last time I watched it was probably late nineties with Real World and Road Rules.

that was right around the time frame when it stopped being relevant.

Yep but damn it was good then.  The unplugged series was awesome in the 90's.  STP, Pearl Jam, Clapton, Plant and Page, oh my!

Sad that the only places on tV to find videos appear to be MTV X/Palladium (The ... what, 3rd MTV channel, and the HD one?), VH1 Classic (2nd VH1 Channel), and ..Fuse?

While it wasn't necessarily music-related, I miss Liquid Television.  I watched it every Sunday night.
