Okay, so my sister is back from LA this weekend and as I was talking with her today she brought up some stories from the City of Los Angeles. One of them involved Harrison Ford who, as we are children of the 1980s, is a massive icon in our eyes. Thus we've both been disappointed in his not appearing in a quality film for the better part of a decade. But she related to me that a friend of hers was working on his last film Firewall and found out that in order to work on his film with him he had to sign a document stating that at no point would he ever discuss Star Wars with Ford.
It was at this point that, were I in her friend's shoes, I would have casually pointed out his last major accomplishment was 1997's Air Force One which was 9 years ago, so he should shut his piehole and sign my Empire Strikes Back poster with a personal apology for Hollywood Homicide and What Lies Beneath.
But I digress.
I then thought about how he won't shut up about the possibilty of Indy 4 so it was clearly evident to me which role he preferred. As for me? While both have their ups (Empire & Raiders) and their downs (Jedi & Temple of Doom) Han Solo was always the man I wanted to be when I grew up. Of course, that included owning the Millenium Falcon and hyperspacing around the galaxy but these dreams will stand with me until I die of old age many moons from now.
So which of these two iconic characters do you prefer?

I had to go with Indy. Han's cool, but Indy's just a bit cooler.

Indiana.
Sorry
I mean I know all the love for Han Solo, and he was a pretty cool character, but I think overall,I would have to go with Indy.

Pretty close call, but I'm going to go with Indy. Star Wars has lost of a lot of its magic for me with the last three films Lucas made (Episodes I-III).

Han Solo
Han had Chewie as his partner in crime, Indy had Short Round, 'nuff said.

I'd say Han..he's a deeper character in my mind with more depth throughout the series than Indy, who, while a badass, is the same every time.

Space Rogue VS. History Teacher? Han when he shot first. The actor that portrayed Indie would SO have his ass kicked by Han Solo's actor.

Han when he shot first. Exactly my point. Before Lucas copped out and changed the scene from Han being a BAMF, to him shooting at the same time, Han would have won.

mind you, there was that "Aw hell" where Indy shoots the guy with the sword. That was a Han Solo moment, IMHO. (and not part of the original script, IIRC).
