It's hugely popular in Arizona, but not with me.

You mean the Bud Light Clamato is popular in Arizona, or that real michelada is popular in Arizona?

I've enjoyed the non-Bud Light micheladas I've had, but it's weird to be eating something spicy, reach for your drink... and drink something that's equally or more spicy than the food.

The Bud Light Clamato is.  If you're ever pumping gas at a nearby Quick Trip in the early afternoon you inevitably see landscapers getting off from work and finishing their day with a 24-oz Bud Light Clamato.

I've had non-Bud Light micheladas, but inevitably I find myself wishing it was a bloody mary.

I went out a girl and her friends once and this was their drink (not premixed, but Bud Light and clamato juice). It was made even more revolting by the packets of salt and green olives they kept dumping into their drinks. Any time I even hear the mention of clamato juice and Bud Light I think of that night and shudder. Oh and she smoked on top of that...ugh...

More evidence that people will buy anything.

A marketing weasel that I knew once said we could "Put shit in a box and I'll sell it." This is that shit.

But I suppose that people who buy Bud don't like beer anyway, so why not?

This.  Plus I keep reading it as Bud light + Chlamydia.  Oddly enough that actually might be more appealing.
