Sadly no.  I do have Ultima 1 - 8 though.  9 just completes the thing.  (and by completes I mean it kicks you in the balls over and over, shredding and burning your childhood.  I'm not bitter)

But do you have Savage Empire and Martian Dreams? smile

BTW, if you are going to sell them, I have been looking everywhere for Ultima 1 and 2.  I have 3-9 in original boxes.

Yes, and Akalabeth, and Ultima Underworld 1 and 2.   I'm an Ultima Dragon...its a requirement!   Seriously, I don't think I can part with em.  I just need more space in my office....

I have it too, but the box got destroyed in a move.  I couldn't believe the size of the box when I got it-  and wasn't it like 20 bucks more than the regular edition?  Granted, the Ultima collection made up for it somewhat.  I miss the old Ultimas  icon_cry

The thing I really miss about the golden era of RPGs is exemplified by Martian Dreams:  not many AAA titles being greenlit that feature Lenin, Tesla, Rasputin and Samuel Clemens wandering around the canals of Victorian-era Mars.  I would love to see a pitch meeting at work where someone brought up the idea:

Executive:  "Uh, guy?  How do we franchise this thing when
Spoiler for Hiden:
they blow up Mars at the end?  Could Wyatt Earp escape to Venus and perhaps start an illegal Venusian street racing gang to tie it in with NFS: U?
"

Heh, we were just laughing about these 'meetings' a minute ago:
For God of War II

Dev: "Ok, so we'll have Kratos fly on PEGASUS!  He'll have to attack harpies and griffin and rip their wings off."
Executive: "But wouldn't it be better if we had Pegasus be on FIRE?!"
Dev: "..."
Sony Exec holding dev check: "Fire. Wings. Now."
Dev: *sigh* "Yes sir"

I actually had both at one point.  I ebayed Savage Empire for $150 a few years ago - cost me $5 at Wal-Mart smile

I loved all the old SSI and Origin fantasy/sci-fi games.  I still have a lot of them too. I just don't get what's missing from games nowadays.  Ultima VI is still one of the most amazing rpg experiences I ever had.  Everything was so cohesive... no busy-work.  The old SSI Goldbox games were great for creating your party.  I think I spent as much time trying to create the perfect group as I did playing out the game.

Bioforge was a great example of that.  A great and very different adventure title.  I'm not sure what it is that is missing either, but I damned sure know what it is when I see it!

Just a standard 36 inch TV and a 360.  No sound system of any kind.  Just plain old tv speakers.  No point in taking pictures of that.  Alot of you have seemed to left that behind years ago.

And not even a hint or cloud of dust in the distance that a flat panel HDTV with surround sound or 5.1 stuff will be coming my way any time too soon.  Maybe when this TV completely dies and standard TV's are no longer sold.

Would be nice to have all that, but at my age all that stuff just doesn't have the draw it once did.  At least not enough to go spend what it takes to get it.  Alas, my audiophile and videophile hormones have diminished to near extinction.

That's happening sooner than you think.  On March 1, all TV's shipped to retailers can ship or import must have a digital tuner as well.  It doesn't mean that you won't be able to get a regular TV past this date, but once they are sold, all you will be able to get is an HDTV, probably with a NTSC (analog) tuner in it as well.

not quite correct...digital TV is very close to being a necessity, but that does not have anything to do with HDTV.  the government mandate states only that all new tvs must possess a digital tuner to receive an over-the-air digital signal.  this digital signal can be either standard-def or HD, and most stations will continue broadcasting a digital SD signal for quite a while.  it's an issue that seems to confuse a lot of people.  all HD signals are digital, but just because a signal is digital does not mean that it will be HD.  for those of us with HDTVs, it sure would be nice if everything would transition to HD soon though...

Thanks for the correction.  I didn't realize that.  It sure would be nice if they all just started to go HD sooner than later.

Yeah, they are LPs.

The guitar cases also contain LPs... of a different sort.  Specifically, a Les Paul Special and a '58 Reissue Les Paul Standard are in those cases.

That is my wife's practice amp.  Mine is a bit bigger. smile

Some of these pics aren't too good...I had trouble with the settings on my camera  retard
32" HD LCD Olevia
Magnavox DVD Recorder
Kawasaki Surround Sound
InFocus IN72 Projector

My 32" HDTV I use for everyday viewing

The projector I use for movies and games. I included this picture cause it was bright enough to see everything around it. That's a 65" diagonal fullscreen(I don't have the widescreen versions of LotR) at 480p

The same pic showing more detail. These are shot at about 7ft away. Not too shabby for a 65" image in "only" 480p

The same setup with an Ultraman PS2 game. Again, I couldn't get the camera settings figured out  icon_mad

I'm gonna try some more shots using my smaller 60" screen....

from 4ft away.
Certainly not bad for a blown-up 480p image.

I just took this quick pic while Miss Taken was watching Heroes tonight. My 2MP camera doesn't appear capable of capturing how good my TV really looks, but still, this gives you a decent idea of how the Caveman rolls. The TV is my new baby: a 1080p Westinghouse 42w2 flat-panel LCD.

Upgraded the gaming area a bit and got directed back here from a Spamnecro'd thread.  Painted, in-wall speakers, etc... Still have some more to do but it's coming along in a fashion that I and my wife both approve.  I hope my Vizio goes on the fritz so I can grab a 50". Tongue

And the rest of the room because... well just because.

Projectors FTW. I got a Acer 720p projector myself. Wanted the very model you have, but they no longer make them, apparently. Awesome how cheap it could be to get such a BIG and very decent picture.
