Goodreads (social reading site)

Just curious as to how many people have an account with Goodreads.  It's kind of what I like to think of as a reader's Facebook although really all you are doing is keeping up on what your friends are reading, keeping track on your own read and backlogs and rating the books you have read.  I find it really handy for getting recommendations of the kinds of books that I like and there are all sorts of little things you can do like make or vote on 'Best of' lists, take part in or make your own reading quizzes and set up and keeping track of your yearly reading goals.  You can set it so that it's integrated with your Facebook timeline or you can keep it separate. Ok I added everyone to my list.  Finally I have some friends who actually update.  You wouldnt believe how many people I have on my list (including ATB ) who have joined Goodreads and yet have never added a book.  Kind of boring.

Since it's the New Year I thought I'd give this a bump. If you have a resolution to read more they have a 2013 reading challenge. I'm going for 30 books this year.

You need to tell me if the Forge of Darkness is as good as his previous books! I LOVE the Book of the fallen series, but hated the flashbacks to Darkness.

I've updated them all to show read in 2012 but it still won't update. Perhaps it needs some time.

Yep, I was updating stuff today as well, and a bunch of titles took a bit to update.  Just wait a little and go back to the site
