It has been many years since I've seen them. Should be a good enough show if they stay away from new material;). Perry Farrell is just a trip to watch perform. Has anyone here caught a JA show in the somewhat recent times?

About a month ago here in Austin. I dubbed it their 'Steel Wheels' tour. Great show, but not quite the legendary performance I'd heard about (wasn't expecting that tbh). 80% of their classic stuff was great, the rest was just mediocre

I saw them back in the 90's and that show still ranks up there in my top 10.  For the encore, they put their mics on the floor and Perry sang into his while laying down.  The rest of the band played percussion on the floor and that beat was picked up by the mics which made it into this really odd, eery sound.  

...same place I saw New Model Army's Justin run across the bar during a guitar solo, kicking my beer into my face as he ran by me.  

You take the good with the bad, I guess.

I have seen them before, just years ago. Flames away, I enjoyed porno for pyros shows more than JA... That being said it should be good to hear the classic stuff.

The show was good. Mostly classics. Some fun theatrics involved as well. You know, a dude hung himself, chics spinning on ropes 40 ft up off the stage, all kinds of craziness.
