I am not ready for today.

Had an awesome but exhausting weekend (great times with the kids, daughter's birthday party, Church functions, 10 mile run, so much sugar consumption).

I've been up for an hour (10 hours of sleep, woo!) but there is fog all around the peripheral of my vision, my body is just battered and fatigued and my brain is stuck in first.

alkmvewrmrrgggmmm?

Mggrrrrflllpppt.

Paged all weekend. Sore from circuit training on Friday (you know it's good when you hurt 3 days later).

I am ready for Monday, however. My weekend sucked.

Saturday:

Woke up at 6 am.   Drove 30 minutes east to take my son to a Cub Scout fishing tourney until 11.   Fished all morning.

11 am.   Drove west for 2 hours and 30 minutes to Tuscaloosa to attend the Alabama vs Ole Miss game.   Started tail gating at 2:00.

5:30 pm.    Kickoff

8:30 pm.   Walk back to tail gate

9:30 pm.   Fight breaks out in front of our tail gate between 2 groups of college kids.     The ladies in the tail gate grabbed the children up and took them into the back.    The guys all walked out towards the fight yelling for them to take it across the parking lot.    Several large dudes we didn't know joined us.    Successful offensive.

10:45 pm.   I start the drive back east.

1:00 am Sunday:    Finally drop into bed.

Yeah.....   I'll be recovering for half the week.

I like Mondays because all the Normals go back to work. I don't like it when they cross into my world on weekends and holidays.

Ha! I know how you feel, but I am getting better and better about not procrastinating so I can enjoy soccer and some beer on the weekend. This week is miserable, 12 page paper due Wednesday, read 100 page play (that's hours of reading for me), forum posts about said play, and then 2 hour essay final on another play. Class is over Saturday, at least, then 4.5 months of no school and 3.5 months of paid vacation before I become a full time, broke, bum.

ATB, see what you've done? You've gone and hurt Monday's feelings... now it's leaving.

Happy now? HUH? HUH?!

You're the reason we can't have nice things.

at least you're almost done.  we're only in week 7 of 16 weeks.  probably gonna look for an accelerated bachelor's program to finish out the remaining 2ish years.

What school are you going to? In my limited experience the regional accredited internet schools often have the 8 week classes. It's great that the classes go quickly, but it's sometimes a lot to learn in a limited time. Often times, especially if I am taking 2 classes, it means I am busy as hell trying to keep up. Especially if it's a class where I really want to take my time and learn it. Then again it's nice being able to move on after 8 weeks.

Owens Community College in Ohio.  I can transfer out to OSU or this other school called Tiffin, which I believe has shorter terms.

On my way back from breakfast this morning, the wife and I saw two stray dogs roaming. While following them (trying to see if we can catch them up) we watched them grab a cat and pull it between them like a rope toy.

Mondays can piss off

Woke up at 10:30, took the dog to the vet at 1, came back, played some BL2, and cleaned the kitchen.  Working directly for a financial institution has its benefits.
