Anyone here watching that new reality show on TBS 'The New Gilligan's Island'?

I'm no reality show whore, but damn if this one hasn't caught my attention.

Maybe it's seeing Rachel Hunter and Nicole Eggert suffering a little?

I dunno  confused

That has started? I was planning on watching it but never caught it. What is it like and is it worth catch late in the run?

I watched a couple epsiodes.

Not a reality TV junkies; but I love Survivor and the Amazing Race, and watch Apprentice too.

Gilligan's Island just lacking something and I can't put my finger on it.  Could just be the fact that you can just watch the 5 second 'coming up next' before each commercial and have see the whole show?

It's more like 'Survivor Lite' and is definately influenced by that show.
The 'Jeff Probst' talks like him, and even wears a similar style.

But it's simple entertainment, and seeing a couple 'stars' suffering a little is always fun
 biggrin

I think they're down to one team now.

Gilligan Gooner has to have been one of the best reality show casting choices of all time...absolutely perfect for a Gilligan.  i've only seen the first couple episodes, but that guy was constantly one of the most entertaining parts of the show.  watching him try to climb into a hammock was great, and seeing him run the pedal-power shower for rachel hunter (then get stuck doing it for everyone) was priceless.  Gooner was definitely a much better choice than that other gilligan guy.

and the one Ginger is really hot too slywink

Agreed on all counts

Unfortunately though, Gooner is gone.
