Regardless of your religious beliefs, this is pretty funny.

I wonder if my wife would let me put that up on our garage.  That, or Christmas Cthulhu.  I'm sure that'd make my conservative neighbors pretty happy...

I'd think that Christmas Cthulhu would be far funnier. Got a screenshot of that?  icon_biggrin

And pardon me for not being religious, but...what the heck IS that thing?

I would so follow that religion.  OK, maybe not, but I've given it more consideration (45 seconds) than Christianity, Islam and Judaism.  Or Taoism.

but Taoism has Pooh.....

The group on campus likes to argue with the guys who show up and tell all the college students how they are completely immoral and corrupt and should immediately convert.

I love those guys.  See, I was raised Baptist, but I've studied many religions.  I'm their worst enemy because I like to poke holes in their religion from the inside.  I like to bolster their pride and then poke a hole in it with "You do know that Pride is a sin, right?"  Little stuff like that.

I don't need somebody else telling me how to think.  I have faith in God, but driving past an easily 20 million dollar church on my way to work reminds me of how little faith I have in organized religion.  That money would feed, dress, and care for so many people that is blows my mind to see that level of waste.  God will listen if you are in a multimillion dollar church or a shiny metal aircraft hanger.  You see it enough times and you can easily see why the Flying Spaghetti Monster is so alluring to people. smile

Yep.  I have a great distrust/like for organized religion in general.  Makes for some interesting conversations with my parents at times.
