Has any one heard or participated in a flashmob or did they make this up.

Supposedly some one emails and or im a bunch of people and they do the same to meet at some place. Then do something strange and disperse before authorities show up.

In CSI Miami they met at a hole on a golf course stopping player from proceeding. then throwing 3 gold balls that had mob spelled out. . They did a chant them ran away. It was freaky.

Fascinating yet creepy--the concept of random social gatherings with no clear purpose.  smile

Flashmobs do exist. But I think they were only popular for a very short time.

Yeah, they were in NYC for awhile. They showed up at a toy store, posed for a picture and then disbursed.

I think my enjoyment would depend on if the mob was all male or all female.
