First half of Rivalry Weekend kicks off this Saturday!

Woohoo!

We've got like 3 'The Game'(s) going on: Cal-Stanford, Harvard-Yale, and OSU-Michigan(or is the Cal game 'The BIG Game'?).

Plus Alabama-Auburn, BYU-Utah, Kansas-Mizzou, and Im sure some others.

Unfortunately, outside of the OSU-Michigan game, I dont think any of 'em will be close(I honestly have no idea about Harvard-Yale, but then I dont think anyone who didnt go there cares either, so...).  And I think the Michigan game could be a blowout as well; UM is obviously the better team, but that series has a history of close games so Im not willing to dismiss that one.  THe 'Bama game might be a good one as well, but I dont think 'Bama's QB(Croyle) is back yet, and against that Tiger defense you've got to be firing on all cylinders if you hope to win.

Any thoughts?

Wazzu/UW will be close just because both us and the Huskies suck ass...but I got a feeling this year will be WSU's year.

not that i'm expecting it to be a good game by any stretch of the imagination, but IU and Purdue face off for possession of the Old Oaken Bucket on saturday.  too bad IU is terrible (my alma mater), and Purdue isn't looking so hot right now either...

I don't have tickets to the Utah-BYU game--although I did try to win some on a radio station by phoning in a rant--but I'm heading to ESPN GameDay's show  tomorrow morning. Should be fun. Hopefully not wet.

It was supposed to be our year LAST year.

It can't possibly be as bad as some of the Apple Cups I saw though.  I wouldn't cut UW out, the past few years they've been using the Apple Cup as their 'redeeming factor'.  Well we suck but at least we beat Wazzu!.

If it's any consolation, I don't think I'm going to be able to talk for about a week.  I have absolutely no voice left.
