While I'm a browncoat through and through, 63 bucks for 14 episodes?  I just can't see how they feel justified to charge that price.  That's insane and just cruel given that there is only one season to be had.

I'll buy it whenever I buy a PS3, I'm Joss' bitch, and apparently Sony's now too.

If I could find for ~$45 I'd snap it up in an instant.  And I don't even have a blu-ray player.

I would pay that much for it if they added extras that weren't in the original DVD box set. As it is most Firefly fans already have the DVD box set and High Def won't be enough alone to get me to re-buy the exact same box set.

Kaylee was quoted a few months ago as saying she had recently recorded new commentary for "an upcoming new box set" which everyone took as a hint of a blu-ray release.  Hope there's more new stuff than just commentary but honestly the HD is the main thing I'm excited about here.

It's too bad they're not including Serenity as part of the box set.

I'll pick it up, though I may wait for it to be on sale.  It will compliment my HD copy of Serenity quite nicely.

Unfortunately they can't- Serenity is from a different studio.

I think I read somewhere that Serenity is indeed coming to Blu Ray.  In on both, but they better have a 'Play All' option on the series box set discs..
