Great thread!

Listening to lots of the new live Dream Theater, Queensryche (since I saw them last week), new The Tangent cause I think Roine Stolt is the prog-god and just loving the new Nightwish - all you Evanesense fans unfamiliar with one of the greatest Finnish bands around should check out their latest entitled Once.  Nightwish is a dark metalish band with a classicaly trained female opera singer.  Saw them live a few weeks ago too smile

OH!  New Fates Warning FWX is amazing...

Picked up the new release by Hanzel und Gretyl.  Loving it!

The new Assemblage 23 album is quite good too.

Had a 20% off coupon at Borders and bought a bunch of books today and

Rilo Kiley - More Adventurous
Wow, listening to it now and I'm wondering how and why I ignored all the mentions of this band on GG/CG before.  I'm loving it.

also, recently placed an order at Amazon for Nancy Sinatra - How Does That Grab You? - I loved the song Bang, Bang from Kill Bill 1 and had to have it, but didn't want the KB soundtrack (I tire quickly of listening to sound clips of QT's films on all his soundtracks.  Also added Nancy Sinatra - Boots because, face it, if you own any Nancy Sinatra you need to own 'These Boots Are Made For Walking'.  Also, Kenneth Patchen - Reads With Jazz in Canada I've been reading a lot of this author and this recording is said to be one of the earliest recordings leading to the 60s "beat" movement.

Also making good of my promise to make Oct. Siouxsie month and adding in a nice helping of Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada into my current listening habits.
