Apparently Family Guy is doing a one hour Star Wars parody in September in honor of Star Wars' birthday.  There was recently a 10 minute sneak preview:

Good stuff.

Robot Chicken is having a special SW episode to, plus FG is a FOX production, so maybe they have some pull with George.

I don't know, I think some of the gags would be amusing for Star Wars fans even if you're not into Family Guy.

For instance:
Spoiler for Hiden:
Leia's ship gets captured by the Star Destroyer, the rebel troops all line up at the door in anticipation, and one asks, "What if they use another door?"

Leia goes to upload her video into Artoo and runs into MPEG compression issues, is prompted to install Real Player, etc.

"Hold your fire, there's no life forms." "What, are we charged by the laser blast?"

Then again, there's a couch gag that goes on way too long, Family Guy style, that'll probably drive Family Guy haters batty. smile

I find Family Guy painfully unfunny. It's like the modern version of Garrison Keillor. But I love Star Wars parodies, so I gave this a shot. I lasted about 3 minutes before turning it off.

Terrible sound, but the parts I could understand were pretty funny. It'll be worth watching when it airs in September.
