Given the fact that thousands of people are killed every year by suicide bombs, I can't even believe this commercial got made.  It shows a total lack of morals and decency.

I can't wait for the commercial based in Indonesia showing a vw driving over dead people and the end reading 'a comfortable ride no matter what.'

The "bad-guy" dies.  No innocents are hurt.  It's funny because it displays a villian being inept, and dying because of it.


It's like all these little works of comedy that show Hitler doing something stupid, or ridiculous.  Like, for example, Monty Python.  It's called surrealist comedy.

Complaining about it to the company (if this were actually a VW ad) isn't censorship.  It's censorship if the government tells them what they can and can't say.  If people complain and the company decides not to do it because of market/opinion pressure, that's just responding to public opinion.

I chuckled at the ad, but I can very much see how someone would reasonably be *very* offended.
