For canceling G4TV  icon_evil . The first question I asked before signing up for service was "do you carry G4TV?"
and less than a year later and my 2 year contract you cancel the F_ing station... I hate you...... crybaby

Indeed. I need to have my contract lawyer look at it and see if them changing the terms of service deems an end to our obligation.

If their contracts are anything like cell contracts, the channel lineup isn't part of the terms of service.  Channel lineups and features change.  They're still providing service in return for your monthly bill.  Nobody reviews their contract for a terms of service out when they add a new channel.

That being said, a decent rep will work with you on an out for cancellation if you make your case about the sole reason for your service if they are able within the policies.  When all else fails, escalate to management.

That being said, I can understand your frustration and wish you luck.

Thing is, services offered at the terms of signing need to be maintained. Fine print is fine print, we're not talking about a ton of money, and you'll likely (being reasonable) get what you want by escalating to management.

If they push back, then you can indicate its feedback - they chose to drop a lineup and this is the consequences. How can upper management see that without some $$$ attached?

We will endeavor to notify you of any change that is within our reasonable control and its effective date. In most cases this notice will be about one month in advance. You always have the right to cancel your Service, in whole or in part, if you do not accept the change (see Section 5). If you cancel your Service, a deactivation fee (described in Sections 2 & 5(b)) or other charges may apply. Credits, if any, to your account will be posted as described in Section 5. If you do not cancel, your continued receipt of our Service will constitute acceptance.
