Ever Feel Like You Spend Too Much Time At GT?

But seriously folks, I don't know if it's in the same vein as the periodic 'I need to step away from games for a while' mood, but man I feel like I spend too much time on this site.

Also, do you find this place cliquey?

I don't but I guess that's cause I spend so much time here- who knows maybe I'm a part of the clique.

I hope this place doesn't feel cliquey.  I personally spend an incredible amount of time here, but that is because I'm involved.

There's definately a #gg clique, but... that will happen when 25 people have real-time communication.

Weeks I have a ton of work, I spend too much time here.  The quiet weeks, not enough.  Or at least that is how it feels.

I've never thought it was as cliquey here as other boards I've frequented.  Though I didn't realize there were people doing a real time chat thing during the day too...

I have lists and crap, and that signifigantly adds to my time here.

Oh, and helping Calvin with all of his tech issues. I think it would save time if someone were just to chop his fingers off.

The few things that bug me about GT:

• PeteRocks novel length posts. I recommend an Executive Summary.
• Devils worship of Martin Brodeur.
• Lockdowns overuse of the popcorn smiley.
• Mytocles lifelong obsession with FFXI.

I only regret that i spend the time here that i do without posting.  Being a 2 game player (WoW and right now the Freespace 2 SCP with mods), I don't have a lot to comment on.  So, I relegate myself to off-topic.  I know a few folks in RL here, notably Ron.  I even worked for him for a short period of time.  I'm not a good journalist.  If it was an opinion article and I could rant, that would be different.  People do that already in their blogs, so who am I?  Just another gamer with an opinion.  I can segue into anything.  Damn I need to get some sleep.
