Nice trailer.  Gonna have to show it to my wife and see what she thinks.  She's an elementary school librarian, so I imagine we'll be seeing it just so she can stay conversant with her students.

Jeremy Irons?  Ooooh....tread with caution - he was in the Dungeons & Dragons movie.  That puts a big black mark on this for me.

Wow, that looks awesome.  never read the books, but a friend I work with has read them and been WAITING for this for some time now.  it looks great.

Malkovich is always impressive in what he does.  I am always amazed that even though I recognize his voice, and his face, he always seems to make me believe who he is.

I am looking forward to this movie now.  thanks for the link.

I have to say that nothing in that trailer got me excited, and the effects didn't look too special either.  I woudl be surprised if it surpasses mediocre. 

The redhead was pretty cute, though.
