That was a tremendous conclusion at the Chelsea vs. Man City match. Indecisive with my feelings of the result but it was exciting.

Hated seeing City lose like that, but they tried to play it safe the entire game.  Hardly pushing numbers forward and looking for the counter attack

No way, that was great seeing City crash and burn due to a bad mistake. I would have been happier with a draw, but for it to end like that, great. Plus the game was fun to watch as a neutral.

I am looking forward to watching Arsenal Vs Liverpool in 45 minutes, that should be a great game

if United win today(its currently 1-3 for untied with less than 10 minutes to go),then we will be 5 points behind leaders Arsenal...so if Arsenal and Liverpool could draw tonight, then we will be 6 points behind, which is just two wins from top of table which is not too bad after our shitty start

Good win for Man City , but they pounded Norwich.  Lets see what they can do on the road.  Sitting Hart was a bit of a shocker, but it was time.  Wondering if Hart hurt his chances for starting in the WC.  Guess it's too early for that type of speculation

Arsenal still at the top of the table and looking good

No favors for you!  icon_biggrin should be interesting next Sunday, we suck against your boys in recent seasons and we are facing them right as they are coming into form. Nervous.

Just don't let RvP score, even if we lose, no goals from him.

I like having Mourinho back in the league, he's entertaining if nothing else. Chelsea and City have such deep benches they don't really have excuses. Must be his fault. Mourhino out!

What about Lloris getting knocked out and staying in the game? That would no longer be acceptable in the US.

Regardless of safety concerns, not sure why you would leave in the game when he must have had a splitting headache. Can't be good for a goalies reactions.

He got a standing ovation after the game, while I understand it, it's a bit silly. The Brits will come around eventually on the safety concerns.

I think Lee's point is that the Premiership doesn't have rules in place for this type of injury.  He was knocked out and should have been removed . Take the decision from the manager and the player

That was my point. The FA and the fans don't think it's a big deal.

Very happy on our play today, didn't play as well in the second half and it got very nervy at the end,but we managed to see it through

Opened up the whole top of the table nicely now

and added bonus,United are now above City

Back from the international break and Everton and Liverpool are playing a very lively match.

I also loved seeing Tottenham demolished by City.

Hope Arsenal will be victorious against Marseille this week.

Easy match this weekend, which we needed.

Ugh. Frustrating game, lots of terrible calls from the refs, but City were the better side. So much talent in that club, we couldn't deal with all that firepower. Good thing their away form sucks.

AVB sacked

I am not sure whether i am surprised or not, sure they lost massively against City and Liverpool but...he has won 8 games out of 16 matches(+ Drawn 3 and lost 5),they are above Manchester United being 7th and are 8 points behind the leaders Arsenal

Massive defeats but surely its not all hope lost

Daniel Levy is the one that needs to be fired. AVB deserved more time, Spurs are hardly doing bad under him, and he needed time to shape them and work with all those new players. Losing Bale was huge and you can't just bring in 8 new signings and expect them to win out the gate. Typical of the league though, managers aren't given enough time.

Who are they going to get to replace him? Back to Redknapp?

Agree with this, the ref's were shit, and Man City is a deep as they come.  I like are chances at the Emirates though.  Still at the top of the table at least!

Yeah, the firing of AVB is quick...  No idea who they'll bring in, but replacing Bale and all those new signing needed time to gel.

I hope you knocked on wood there Eco. This Arsenal side is way too unpredictable for me to be confident yet. Not to mention Everton is way too good to be over confident.

As far as Moyes, it's hardly surprising, but I did think they would let the season finish first. Wish Metallicorphan still posted here, he must be thrilled.
