has anyone tried these new Doritos yet? they come in 3 degrees of hotness: Jalapeno, Buffalo Wings and habanero. the habanero ones actually made me sweat but I found the buffalo wing ones to be a bit too bitter. the jalapeno ones seemed to be the best, and they still had a bite to them.

These things are really hot, but damn they taste good. I'm loving the 2nd Degree Burn Buffalo Wing flavor. I didn't think they were very hot the first few chips but the heat kinda builds then lingers.

They actually had them in vending machines on the public ferries here in BC for a while, but no doubt complaints from too many shocked people got them removed. Every time we travel by ferry my son checks every vending machine for those chips, but always comes back disappointed. I'm just going to have to find a another source and bring my own along with me.  |

The 2nd do build up a real good hotness. I enjoyed the flavor, but it was a little intense for a bag of chips, especially Doritos. The Pepsi Max Cease Fire was good too. However, the idiot at 7-11 couldn't realize the difference between them being out of stock / in high demand and a shortage of stock and Pepsi discontinuing the entire Pepsi Max line.

I'll have to try and track these down. Every once in a while, a guy at work gets his folks in Texas to send him some Takis Fuego chips from Mexico. They're kind of like Doritos rolled into a tube, and they build up a nice burn after two or three chips. So good, and stupidly expensive to acquire in MA. I'd love to have something similar that can be gotten cheaply.

I recently tried Death Rain...anyone that thinks they have had a hot chip has NOT really had one...I saw a girl eat one chip and immediately got a bloody nose. Death Rain does reign supreme in teh hotness. |
