I sure hope so.  icon_twisted

I'm pretty stoked about this. Permuted Press just signed me to a 3 book deal. This is the publisher that got me into the post-apoc thing. I had no idea anyone published these kinds of books until a few years ago when I came across several at a local book store. They published the Day by Day Armageddon books, the Dying to Live series, Dunwoody's Empire and one of the funniest books I have ever read, John Dies at the End.

My first book for them will be called Beyond the Barriers and it should be out in October. It will also be on Audible.com.

The whole submission process, waiting, sending emails back and forth, waiting, revising manuscripts, talking about contracts, royalties, advances, more waiting, ... the past three months have been nerve wracking to say the least.

Good god no. I tried doing a chapter for a podcast and it sucked. I don't know who will do the reading.

I'll see if Orlando Bloom is available. I have always wanted to hear my stuff with a female voice.

Way to go, Crusis!  I've always heard that getting that first gig is the hardest part.

Personally I'm excited for the date the copyright expires on books made by modifying books whose copyrights have expired.  Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Zombies would be hilarious.

Those mash ups sell like mad! I haven't read one but I do admire the guys that can sell a million books by taking someone else's classic work and adding their own stuff. Um .. yeah. Then again, if someone showed up at my door with a truck of cash to do the same thing. Sure, I'd whore out my word processor.

This is actually my 4th novel. I was lucky to hook up with a small press a few years ago and have a little bit of success. The one thing that I haven't seen is my books in stores. This deal changes that.

Among the Living - revised late last year with a pro editor
The Zombie Wilson Diaries - a goofy book I wrote online as a gag
The Apocalypse and Satan's Glory Hole - the title kinda says it all ... This book is going to be pulled soon so we can split it up to coincide with a graphic novelization.
