Ahh, a clean desktop. I've forgotten what those are like. I'd post mine but my machine imploded this week and I'm not interested in trying to fix it until I can do so without screaming at it in rage.

I wouldn't have the CoH icon except that I have that shortcut run with a command line so I kind of need it.

Quick segue Skylander-are you using an Nvidia card and if so what driver revision are you using to get COH stable-the last two have terrible issues with it with the high and ultra texture details.

For XP I was using 97.46 force ware, it's a 7900 GS Go that is in the laptop and CoH ran fine. Haven't tried it with Vista yet. The command line is to run 3rd party maps. Same drivers for vista so I'll see.

Frankly, I don't understand why people don't have clean desktops (or at most like 5 icons on it). I hate when a desktop becomes a clutter of icons with a picture buried underneath. I mean, that's why you have the Program Launcher for cripes sake. biggrin

Nice background, Skylander.

No, that is what a desktop is for.  You put things on it.  My Programs list is three pages wide and since they aren't in any logical freaking order or are hidden in some bizarre publisher/developer folder it is actually more difficult to find things on there than to have program/game icons directly on my desktop.  I am a very visual person and can usually remember right where the icon was that I wanted and the icons are distinct rather than just more folders.

And how many times do you just sit and look at your desktop picture anyway?  Either I have some program(s) running or I'm not sitting at my computer.  I see my desktop between closing out one program and starting something else, and that's about it.

I guess I'm different than the common user. I have a laptop always running (even when I'm playing a console game or using my gaming PC), and usually it's just open to AIM and whatever browser window I need at the moment. Beyond that, it's my desktop picture. I guess that's why I like it clean.

Okay, I'm still pitiful... how do you do this desktop thing, like, get it into a post?

Not that mine is at all interesting, but some of you will get a laugh out of the Word Docs I have shortcutted to the d'top lol...

The rest is just the boring usual stuff and the boring usual MS background, though I did have a cool Marvin the Martian one a while back - that I haven't been able to re-create  - since the infamous dumping of an entire beer on my (last) laptop...  retard

Perhaps it's meant to keep folks out? You know, like disguising coffee creamer in a specimen cup labelled "breast milk" so your coworkers leave it alone.

The second set was by far and away some of your best work ever, I still dont know how you managed to get the giraffe, the handlebars and the midget to flow so fluidly through a scene.
