When I got wounded, shrapnel severed my radial artery which caused hypo volemic shock.  Also shrapnel in my right knee and right wrist contributed in my overall blood loss which slipped me into a temporary coma.  However, those kind of wounds I received did not cause permanent damage (arteries are supposedly the fastest healing part of the body).  So there it is, my wolverine healing factor works pretty well.  

I'm not disappointed, my tour will be over by the end of the year.  But hopefully I can come stateside for 10 days before I ship out again to see my wife and some of you knuckleheads

My stiches came out today, a boy do they look sexy.  The scar on my wrist looks like some emo cutting wound, and the scar on my left arm looks like a frown. 

The good news is that my leave for 10 days will be approved sometime next month, unless WWIII breaks out. 

P.S. Oh and I heard from my unit that DOGMEAT is getting fat.  When I get back there I'm gonna make him do some crunches.

No, they won't change their minds and that's fine with me.  I've had some conversations with some other forum members here (via teamspeak, xbox live) about how many times I would've walked away to another job.  It may sound arrogant or maybe even egotistical but I can't bring myself to leave my unit or have someone else in charge looking after my knuckleheads.  I've been with them for so long and trained them so therefore I feel 100% responsible for them. 

I don't do anything special, it doesn't take a genius to do what I do, and I don't make any real money doing it.  The only real thing I have a problem doing right now is getting orders to clear a neighborhood of enemies that maybe 50% of them are noncombatants.
