Good to hear from you man. It seems half the ops you guys are running are announced on the news prior. My sister heard about some and asked me if it was where you were and I was asking her 'where'd you hear about that'. It's ridiculous the level of disclosure they have now.

They have been forced to do that because of activists that love to scream about civilian casualties. Therefore they tell everyone so the civilians will clear out, and then nothing is left but the traps. Effing libruls.  The province was so ridiculously filled with snipers I actually did the helmet on the stick trick....and it worked for our counter-snipers. Kinda like this: (grabbed from google images)  Isn't there a danger the bullet will bounce down into that guy's crotch? What do you think they use the FNG's for? see? they do keep explosive red barrels around for no reason whatsoever! LOL that's exactly what I was thinking and about to post  |

Glad to hear you're doing ok. My uncle was a lifer in the Corps. He spent some time in-country in Nam which he never talks about. Other than that, Dad and another uncle were Air Force and Granddad was Navy. I have the utmost respect for what you do.
