I was recently comparing stuff because I've been wanting to get back into shooting... I was looking more at .40 SW stuff, but they generally have the same designs chambered for the big 3 (9mm, .40, .45). The HK USP was what I was originally looking at, but as I did more research the Sig P22x stuff seemed like it might be a little better, or at least on the level depending on what you like. Are you going to a try before you buy place? I don't know what you want to spend... they are both kind of pricey, but maybe you get a discount? That Sig P220 Combat model looks like the perfect fashion accessory for a Marine. Those S&W Sigma series pistols seem decent for what looks to be considerably less money.
Curious to hear what you get and what you think of it.
I picked up the Springfield .45 XD with 2 13 round clips and a bunch of extras for under $500  |

I picked up the Springfield .45 XD with 2 13 round magazines and a bunch of extras for under $500 Fixed That said, nice XD. I recently went Glock instead. Next purchase is either the HK P30 or the HK45, pretty much exactly like the one Kato bought. It really depends. If I have my concealed carry permit it'll be the P30, because it's just so much smaller. If I still haven't gotten around to getting the permit I'll go for the HK45. We're assholishly derailing Kato's thread. Anywho, speaking of the HK45, it's over a grand where you got it Kato? I got quoted $902 for one a couple days ago from a local gun shop here. Granted I'll have to pay tax on top of that, but it'll still be at least $50 cheaper. That sucks. You should get a military discount or something  |

 Been up for almost 48 hours due to the fact we had a few injuries today in my platoon and I'm grumpy as shit. I miss my damn xbox, at least with the that I can take out my frustrations out by playing some FPS. I took some pretty interesting pictures that I'll post later, but I only have one right now thats been cleared by intel-sec.

Hey Jarrod!!! Whats up man??? Did Missouri dry up yet? As for the puppy, at first I tried to ignore it so it would go away. I really didn't want to get too attached in case I couldn't keep it. However, I carried him to my commanding officer and got permission to keep the little guy. Still have no name for him though....any suggestions? And of course, in true Marine Corps fashion, all my marine buddies keep on saying that I keep the dog around so I can eventually eat him. |

Yeah actually haven't had any rain for a couple of days now... shocking I know. I was going to suggest kato for the dog's name, but dogmeat works.
Found out that a good friend of mine just got a call from the army about potentially getting recalled and sent to afghanistan. Sounds like things are definitely not rosy in that area.
