Don't preface a romantic dinner with the phrase, "Wizard needs food, badly."

I've done similar.  Except I've always been "Elf."

Which is odd, because I always play as Valkyrie.  Don't read too much into that, kthx.

My biggest advice for gamers (seriously) is exactly what Darren8r said - realize that you are a great person on the inside, and then try to maintain the outside to match.  There is nothing worse than being able to smell the guy next to you as if he had an onion patch growing under his arms.  That sting in your eye won't attract chicks bub.  And seriously, take off the Everquest shirt.  Your wardrobe does not come with your pre-order.  Wash everything with soap and water, then learn to use a brush or a comb.  Next to the comb is the toothbrush - learn its basic operation and use often.

Once you've done all that (it takes less time than to get your next 'bubble' in WoW, so just do it ya pansy), learn how to make small talk with other people.    Try not to have wide eyes like a deer in the headlights, and for God's sake try not to look like a child molester with the wide eyes and creepy handwringing.
