6:30 AM and still no sleepy yet for me. Curse you heartburn. Curse you.

Back to prilosec and the accompanying headaches, as I'll choose headaches over heartburn.

Have you tried Zantac? If your heartburn is caused by acid reflux, Zantac works great.

Edit: It would probably help if I mentioned the right drugs.....

I (used to) feel your pain.  I have GERD and have to take a Nexium (or Prilosec if I can ever find it at the store) every single day of my life.  Not that it's terrible, but I don't like being pill dependent.

Don't ignore it, especially if it's common.  Lots of bad things can happen from long-term heartburn (including esophogeal cancer).

Pepcid Complete - it's over-the-counter, works faster than Tums, and lasts. Only thing I use.
