16 out of 20.  missed the first words of the Constitution, the 2 Supreme Court ones and mis-clicked on the chain of succession one.

There were a couple there (France selling Louisiana, for instance) that I knew but second guessed myself. Same with Woodrow.

Not bad since I didn't take US history in school (which is a rarity here - it was only due to my german enrollment where instead I was taught social studies and history - both Canadian and German - auf Deutsch).

Same here.  I don't feel too guilty about it, though, since none of it really affects my daily life and I haven't thought about it since the last time I took a history class many years ago.

I would argue that most of that quiz actually does affect your daily life.

I'm not sure if I would pass. But you know what, I don't have to! Some part of the constitution says that. Or something.

11 out of 20, not bad for a non-US citizen who has never taken extensive US history before.

Yeah, I've always said that these nationality tests should be conducted on all citizens first, and then we get to toss out those that didn't pass!

I missed the number of amendments, the year the Constitution was written and, most sadly, the chief justice when I clicked on the first John I saw and didn't read the rest of his name.

Iím actually a bit curious of the age differences between people that did well versus those that didnít.  I purposely avoided taking American history classes in school because I found it so dull in comparison to world history.  Iím guessing that wasnít as possible 15+ years ago.

I'm old, and social studies was required in HS. But I learned more from being a lifelong daily newspaper reader. I guess I must've just absorbed the knowledge. I'll admit to guessing at a couple of questions...but I did guess right.
