He had a tentative deal with Fox, but it got canceled when they found out Conan had booked Joss Whedon as one of his first guests.

Actually, that's the reason that Conan originally turned the offer down.  Lopez then called Conan personally to change his mind.  Conan is a class act.

Well, no wonder I can't find TBS in my listings. Canada only gets the weak PeachtreeTV version, and they don't even show the George Lopez show. I hate that channel.
