His comments about the timing of the character creation and all of the customization options in Skyrim were funny. I feel like I'm doing my taxes. I'm all for rpg character creation where the developers have premade templates that can be quickly adjusted, and still have the depth of sliders for those that want to spend a lot of time designing their character. Just hide the sliders on a seperate tab so the average person that wants to jump in doesn't have their brain melted by option overload. Most rpgs seem to be headed in the this direction.
This is why my RPG characters (or any characters at all, really) are always just the default skin. I do zero customization.
