Haven't seen him lately or his post count has dropped significantly.  Is he okay?

I think this is a New Year's resolution type thing, because his last post was around 11:30 pm on December 31st. Someone did say they talked to him somewhere else and that he is ok. Why he would take a break from GT is anyone's guess.

Also, he's on my PSN friends list and I have seen him online on there, so he is probably ok. Maybe his software is just malfunctioning.

He is fine.  I contacted him on FB a while back.  He said:
Quote
yeah, everything is OK, just taking a break from the internet in general.  One of my resolutions was to get caught up on some stuff, I imagine I'll be back eventually.

So it does seem to be a New Years Resolution thing (except for the fact that he's sticking to it).  I know that he's back at school. He seems to be focusing on that.

Miss CK. Sometimes it was a bit much coming to the forum and literally every post from the last 2 days had a comment from him, but at least he posted a lot of content, and would keep conversations going.

Looks like Purge left as well.

Half the threads here die a quick death without CK, so I definitely miss him here.  Glad he is OK.

I"m trying to pick up some of his slack, but let's face it, it's pretty much impossible.  I would need a clone army of at least 5 more of me to get to CK levels.

When I first ran into CK, and his omnipresence on the Forum, I thought spam-jockey going for the title.
But in quick fashion you come to realize that's just not true with CK.

At times he's left me gob smacked at how fast and accurate his posts are. His comments mostly carry
weight, in his obvious love of our hobby, and knowledge there of.

All the best CK, the forum is in a funk waiting for your return.  nod

CeeKey has 427 games purchased on Steam which he has never installed much less played. So I think he's on a gaming megathon attempting to catch up.

I can already see the movie poster. Ceekay standing in the woods with his batman outfit on and Purge glaring down the Evil with that crazy mugshot look of his.

Has anyone PM'd him via the board here? Most folks have the email notifications on for PM messages by default (I think).

I've had a couple lengthy sabbaticals from forums in general (couple times from here), and a couple times folks PM'd me just to ask if I was OK and why I didn't post anymore. I think once I was sad over my cat Molly passing away in Sept. 2010 and just lost interest in gaming for quite some time. Other times I've just stopped gaming for long periods and didn't post for a long time.

I appreciated folks checking in on me. I don't think they were even folks who knew me well, just people who seemed to enjoy my posts when I wasn't in obnoxiously overenthusiastic Blackjack moviegoer/gamer mode.  icon_wink Now, nobody started a thread about it (I'm not CeeKay afterall  icon_smile), but maybe a few of us should pelt CeeKay with PMs to see what's up. If somebody already has, then I'm doing what I often do, which is say something without parsing the previous 37 posts.  icon_redface

I think the real Top Secret reason is that the NSA reassigned him to data mining and he is at full operational capacity. School is just a convenient scapegoat.
