I was watching/listening to the sunday morning shows when this ad came on... (i missed the beginning where they show the name of the company)

the commercial was endless - I don't know if it was the full 3:30 secs or if it was trimmed to 3 minutes... but i was laughing outloud (thinking that the fabled "what the hell is this ad selling" riff has gotten out of control - keep in mind i missed the beginning... i figured jewelery or watches... but had not seen any company brands)

in this day and age when most commercials are limited to 30-60 secs... i was stunned that they did the crazy long commercial on sunday morning.

enjoy (for viewing out of the sight of women)

those mini movie type commercials have become a bit trendy these days.  That was actually kind of cool.

That was cool and kind of gorgeous.

I've only seen extended ads on the internet or in movie theaters.  It'll be interesting to see if buying whole blocks of advertising happens on television more.

It certainly would catch my attention more than a :30 spot.  And when fast forwarding over it, you're more likely to notice something extended.

Is it cost effective, though?  Time will tell.

Wow, talk about outstanding editing and visual effects! I'll be suprised if that doesn't get at least 1 Clio nomination.
