And to add insult to irony, a contact I deal with on a day to day basis replied to a one sentence e-mail I sent him, and he called me Mark. Not really my name there dude, but thanks for guessing. My cable modem died last night right when I needed it most, naturally, and I think I might be in withdrawls by Thursday when they come out to replace it. The boss also came out this morning first thing and told the three of us in the Operations department that we need to have an embarrasing story ready to go to tell the rest of the company tomorrow morning.

The damn thing is my survival instinct hasn't quite kicked in yet. Maybe because I'm not a morning person. At any rate, I'm knockin' back enough caffine right now to cause a rhino to explode and just hoping and praying there isn't another shoe (or pair of them) somewhere just aching to drop at the worst possible moment.

Pray for Mojo.

Yes it is.  When I was in highschool I ran up the stairs in my parents house.  I tripped on the last step, flew across the hallway at the top and split my eyebrow on the door frame to my parents room.

Hell, yeah.  I fell up the stairs when I was a teenager, and banged my leg so hard I briefly went into shock.

On the plus side, it got me out of high school that day.   Tongue

Hey, If I tell an embarassing story can I get a job in your operations department?

And I would second the lying and telling one of MH's worst day stories, or even give DBT a nod and tell one of his great life moments, just make it believable.
