Where does everyone buy their comics from?

There is a shop not too far from me, but I've been using Amazon for a while.  The quality has always been fantastic, and the cost is generally about half what the store charges.  They also deliver, so my lazy ass doesn't have to walk five blocks.

That sounds ideal.  Cheap comics delivered to your door?  Sign me up.

Actually, I like to go down to my local comic book store and browse around.  Even if it costs more, I like knowing that I'm supporting a local business.

I get mine from Mailordercomics.com.
I've used them for a few years and find them to be reliable, the prices are excellent and they have good customer service.  thumbsup

I feel a little guilty, since I haven't made a trip to my local comic store in quite awhile.  It's just so convenient having them brought to my door.

For trades, I find that www.instocktrades.com usually beats Amazon's prices.

Local shop for me; they're good people, I'm happy to support the local small business (putting my politics where my wallet is), and I enjoy browsing anyway.  It's not always convenient, as it's on the other end of the city from me, but eh, it's worth it.  smile

You can actually ask your local stores to mail comics to you every time the ones you want comes out.  Special things like that are what local stores are great for.

I'm fortunate enough to have two great comic shops nearby.  One within walking distance and one within easy driving distance.  I buy from both.
